This course is designed for Grade 9 students to gain experience with social and civic responsibility along with providing them with an introduction into effective leadership styles and methods. It is run outside the timetable throughout the year through after-school and lunchtime meetings and involves volunteer activities. Considerable emphasis is on individual project work. This is a tremendous opportunity for students who want to contribute to the life of the school and community.

Considerable emphasis is on project management and personal Leadership, with an added focus on organizing and managing Grad events. This is a tremendous opportunity for students who want to contribute to the life of the school and community.

Grad Council/Leadership is a Grade 12 focused leadership class with two main purposes: to fund raise (i.e. pizza/candy sales) and organize grad activities for all graduating students. Students are expected to attend early morning meetings regularly and volunteer for several student committees that are responsible for Grad activities.
